Mixed Martial Arts has evolved into not only the most exciting spectator sport in the world but also a sport that anyone can learn and train for. It’s a sport that has so many different facets and because it’s continually evolving, you never fail to learn something each time you step onto the mat! This form of training will give you the ultimate fitness experience!

Boxing is a combat sport and martial art that utilises only the fists of the participant. In addition to being an incredible workout and a unique sport, boxing is a fundamental part of many combat sports and many classes at Platinum Extreme include boxing. If your goal is knockout power or fitness then try this out and see the results!

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) shares its origins with Judo and is a form of combat specialising in grappling, using leverage, body mechanics and technique to control and submit your opponent. It has truly shaped and defined what is known as Mixed Martial Arts today and is a style anyone, any shape or size can learn.

Muay Thai is one of the most exciting striking styles in existence. Combining elbows, knees, kicks and punches. You will develop a blend of techniques to add to your stand-up skills, as well as experience a fantastic workout! What are you waiting for? Punish those pads!

Kettlebells are focused on “back to basics” training, developing functional body strength and fitness across the entire body. As well as developing your strength you will also work your core – building both strength and stability at the same time with one dynamic workout. If you enjoy strength training, you’ll love this.

Power Yoga is a vigorous, fitness based approach to yoga with a focus on strength and flexibility, allowing you to revitalise and de-stress. Unlike other forms of yoga, Warrior Yoga does not focus on one specific set of movements therefore making each session as varied and challenging as the last. This class will be suitable for all levels of experience – give it a go!
