About Jody

I have been interested in all things sports related all my life. At school as all
English kids do I played football (soccer!) but it was at 16 that I found my real
passion – Rugby. Rugby monopolised my life for the next 16 or so years and I
played Ealing, I also gained representative honours for Middlesex.

Unfortunately rugby can't go on forever and I have now substituted one obsession for another and rugby has made way for MMA. I have been training for around 2 years and love the sport. I try to get involved in as much Jiu Jitsu and Thai boxing as I can, hence why you'll see me in most of the classes!

I have always lived in London up until 12 months ago when I moved to Australia. I got married in March this year and have settled into the Australian way of life! Being away from home can certainly be hard at times but living on the Northern Beaches and working at Australia's best MMA gym certainly makes things easier!
