MMA Coach
Nick grew up in the Midwestern United States doing what every other kid in the area was doing Wrestling and playing Grid-Iron Football. Being the little guy that he was he quickly made wrestling his priority when he discovered that the competitions were divided into weight classes. In High School Nick gained the reputation for being the meanest 103 pounder (47 kilos) in the area. He also placed at the Nebraska State tournament on three separate occasions, won the all-conference wrestling award all four years and set many of his school records including most wins in a season.
After High School Nick began coaching the Jr. High wrestling team and soon became anxious to compete again. Finally at the age of 19 he discovered his calling; Mixed Martial Arts. Over the next two years he co-founded a local team by the name of Pangsuko ShootFighting and amassed an amateur record of 9-1 with all 9 wins coming by the way of submission. Just before he turned 21 he entered the professional circuit and has so far built a professional record of 9-2 with 8 wins coming by the way of submission. Before he moved to Australia, Nick was the reigning Kickdown Featherweight Professional Champion as well as the Rocky Mountain Bad Boyz Professional Bantamweight Champion. His last two wins have been here in Australia proudly representing Platinum Extreme.
If you met Nick outside of the gym it would be hard to imagine him as a “fighter.” He spends the majority of his time doing yoga, hanging out at the beach and riding around on his skateboard.
